Refund policy
Returns & Replacements
We make small-batch pickles, preserves, condiments and spice blends — all perishable food products. For food safety and quality reasons, we don't accept returns.
But if something arrives broken, damaged, or not what you ordered, we'll make it right.
Damaged or broken on arrival
Check your order as soon as it lands. If anything's broken, leaking, or looking worse for wear, email us at hello@goatrodeogoods.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the damage (and the packaging if it took a hit in transit)
We'll send a replacement or refund the affected items — your call.
Wrong item
If we've sent you the wrong thing, that's on us. Email hello@goatrodeogoods.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort it.
Faulty product
If a jar's faulty — seal failure, off batch, anything that means it shouldn't have left our kitchen — let us know. Email hello@goatrodeogoods.com with your order number, batch code (on the base of the jar), and a photo. We'll replace it or refund it.
Change of mind
Because everything we make is food, we can't take products back once they've left us — even unopened. Please order carefully, and if you're unsure whether something's for you, drop us a line before you buy and we'll happily talk you through it.
EU customers — 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is being shipped into the EU, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt. Because our products are perishable foods, this right doesn't apply once a jar has been opened or its seal broken. Unopened, sealed jars in their original condition can be returned at your own cost within this window — email us first at hello@goatrodeogoods.com so we can give you return instructions.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, we'll process it to your original payment method within 10 business days of agreeing it. Banks can take a few extra days to post it — if it's been more than 15 business days since we confirmed your refund and there's still no sign of it, email hello@goatrodeogoods.com and we'll chase it down.
