In our house, a jar of kimchi is our version of fast food. In a few minutes it turns a packet of ramen into something fancy, eggs into something resembling a full meal, and a cheese toastie into a hipster delight.
Our Salty B*tch Kimchi Salt captures that in transportable form - adding umami richness to, well, everything - making the most basic foods fancier.
Golden, crunchy, and packed with tangy flavour — these kimchi fritters are quick to make and even quicker to disappear. Perfect as a snack, side, or sharing plate.
These salty b*tch kimchi fritters are quick and easy and reheat well, so make a big batch.

Ingredients
For the Salty B*tch Kimchi Fritters:
500g (3 US cups) fermented kimchi, drained
2 eggs
215g (1.75 US cups) plain (all-purpose) flour
3 tablespoons oil for frying
To Serve:
- Salty B*tch Kimchi Salt
- Soy Sauce
- Chopped chives
Directions
Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. You may need to adjust the amount of flour depending on the wetness of your kimchi — the mixture should form a thick batter.
In a large frying pan, heat about 1cm of oil over medium heat.
Spoon roughly 1 tablespoon of the fritter mix into the pan for each fritter.
Fry for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve hot with soy sauce, a sprinkle of chopped chives and some Salty B*tch Kimchi Salt
